Post & Packing Service

Castle Auctions are happy to provide a Post & Packing service at reasonable cost for customers who aren’t able to collect their items from our salerooms in person, please see details of the charges and services below.

Auction Invoices must be paid within the required timescale and we will then prepare your items for dispatch.

Packing Fee

All items are packed to the best of our ability and every due care and attention is taken to ensure that your items are sent securely. Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any breakages after the items leave our premises. Any claims or disputes would have to be directed to the delivery service used. Any specific postage requirements must be discussed with our staff and confirmed prior to goods being purchased and dispatched.

Typical ‘Packing’ charges, are as follows:-
>>> Unboxed or items not requiring individual wrapping – €3.00
>>> Items requiring wrapping (small quantity) – €5.00
>>> Box of China/Tea Service/Fragile items – €8.00 – €10.00
>>> Dinner Service – €15.00
* Please note all prices mentioned are plus VAT.

Our aim is to provide a cost effective service and where possible we will combine items to reduce expense. Items will normally be ready for collection / posting within 3 working days of settlement of invoice.

Purchasers in Cyprus

Purchasers based in the Republic of Cyprus can receive their items through courier services from G.A.P Akis Express or ACS, after payment of the auction invoice and packing fee, we will dispatch the items and you will pay only the courier’s handling fees upon collection (weight based and beyond our control).

Nicosia Group / Shared Delivery

If you are based in, or near Nicosia, we offer a Group / Shared Delivery service, typically on the Friday after each auction. We can bring your items to Nicosia for a discounted price, as we’ll bring a number of customer’s Lot together, everyone benefits! You can have smaller items transferred to our Nicosia saleroom, for local collection (from as little as 3 Euros), or bought direct to your home or office (from as little as 10 Euros). Invoices must be paid in advance and multiple or larger items (furniture) will cost more or possibly require a special / full load, please ask us for more details.

International Purchasers

We regularly ship auction Lots all over the World, for smaller items we typically use the Cyprus Post Office and their ‘EMS Data Post’ tracked service, which is weight based. You can get find their charges for each country here: https://www.cypruspost.post/en/postal-rates-results.

If you wish to make your own arrangements, use other providers such as DHL, or send a courier to collect items on your behalf, please notify us accordingly.
